I'm a big fan of Airhawk cushions, used it back in 2002 on my 36,000 mile trip around the US. The new Airhawk 2 is practically the same product but at a much lower price point. It still works the same, you sit on a pocket of air, no pressure points on your butt, no sweat either and in the rain you the water doesn't accumulate either. You can adjust the air while you ride to change the feeling. I used the Version 2 seat cushion on a 3500 mile trip a few weeks ago. My BMW stock seat doesn't have much cushion built in and is too low for me too. The airhawk was perfect.

Its true what they say, the less Air the Better. Don't get caught up in blowing it up too much get it down to 5mm of Air Cushion and the Pain in your Back will be gone. I have 4 Crushed disks from a Work Accident and this has been a tremendous addition to my Bike. Remember if you try it on someone elses bike you still have to let the Air out or Increase it to your own individual needs.
